Ms. Mongelli will be addressing common physical problems that result from playing violin, offering options for avoiding the, and teaching us some stretches and exercises to healthily develop our potential.

1 PM: Nancy Lokken, “Practicing with our young children”

Ms. Lokken will be offering her expertise as a recognized teacher, addressing parents’ common issues and concerns about practicing with very young children, and answering your questions.

4 PM: Annika Eriksson, “A guide to instrument buying”

Mrs. Eriksson will be explaining everything to keep in mind when we are ready to buy an instrument, whether you are a first time buyer or you are looking to upgrade. She will be showing instruments from the shop where she works and explaining the differences between them, and answering questions.

7 PM: Recital

11 AM: Mark Bjork, “Practicing alone”

How do you help and actively support your child when he is ready to practice by himself? And how can they make their practice more effective? Mr. Bjork will be addressing these common doubts, giving ideas, and answering questions.

2 PM: Lionnel Genovart, “A luthier’s perspective”

Mr. Genovart will be talking about the history of the violin, it’s construction process, maintenaince, and answering questions.

5 PM: Closing concert
